To reach the park travelling from western Nova Scotia,
1. Take Exit 5 of Nova Scotia Highway 101 (350 m)
2. Turn left onto Hwy 14 to Brooklyn (8.9 km)
3. Turn left onto Hwy 215/14 then continue travelling on Hwy 14 to Ashdale Road (4.8 km)
4. Turn right onto Ashdale Road (260 m)
5. Turn right onto Clayton McKay Rd - destination will be on your right (450 m)
From Halifax and east of Smileys Provincial Park:
1. Take Exit 4 of Nova Scotia Highway 101 toward Nova Scotia 215/St. Croix/Newport/Ellershouse (400 m)
2. Keep right at the fork and merge onto Nova Scotia Trunk 1 E (46 m)
3. Turn left onto NS-215 E (signs for Brooklyn/Stanley/Walton/Glooscap Trail) (3.3 km)
4. Turn right onto McKay Rd (signs for McKay Road) (4.1 km)
5. Turn left onto Clayton McKay Rd - destination will be on your left (600 m)
NOTE that the bridge on Clayton McKay Rd has been replaced.
